Remote access is where a lot of otherwise careful setups go wrong, because the quickest way to make something reachable is also the least safe. Port forwarding a NAS or a camera recorder straight to the open internet is still common, and still a bad idea.
A technician can get you a proper tunnel instead, working on your phone and your laptop, in about an hour. If you are behind CGNAT and think you are stuck, that is usually solvable too.
